ARDS with septic shock managed successfully using a multidisciplinary approach: A case report

Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is an inflammatory process in the lungs that results hypoxemia and decreased lung compliance. Invasive mechanical ventilation prone positioning have proven benefits management of patients with severe ARDS. Post-extubation rehabilitation programs are equally important for recovery these patients. We reporting case a 30-year-old male ARDS where protective ventilation, timely intubation, early positioning, multidisciplinary communication, post-discharge follow-up teleconsultation were used under expert supervision successful case.
